What is an Ellington webbing pulley?

The Ellington is the simplest pulley system for slacklines: instead of ropes and pulleys, a webbing runs back and forth several times between two redirects. That multiplies your pulling force without expensive hardware. It is the classic next step when the ratchet is no longer enough, typically from around 25 to 30 m line length.

The webbing is what matters: too thick means a lot of friction and little effect, too thin means not enough reserve. This tensioning webbing is made exactly for the job.

What else you need
