How long your slackline can be depends on the tensioning system. For short and medium lines, the long-handle ratchet with double pawl is the simplest solution. With spacers, 25 mm webbing also fits into 50 mm ratchets.

For longer lines, the Ellington webbing pulley with our 18 m tensioning webbing is a good introduction to pulley systems.
