Spacers – Reducing Rings for Ratchets

Spacers are essential for using 25 mm slackline webbing in 50 mm ratchets. Just drop them into the ratchet, done.

What do you need spacers for?

Most ratchets are built for 50 mm webbing. Put narrow 25 mm webbing in and it wanders back and forth on the spindle, winds up crooked and rubs against the side plates. The spacers fill the space left and right so the webbing winds up centred and straight. That protects the webbing and makes tensioning cleaner.

Typical case: you have a beginner set with a wide ratchet and want to move to 25 mm webbing. Instead of a new ratchet, a pair of spacers is enough.
