Tree Anchor with Twisted Shackle

The alternative to the tree anchor with linelocker – with a twisted stainless steel shackle instead of an open hook.

It lets you attach any slackline with a loop directly to the anchor point, without threading an extra linelocker.

Why a twisted shackle?

The shackle is rotated by 90 degrees. That way the loop of your webbing sits cleanly in the direction of pull instead of twisting up while you tension. It is the kind of difference you notice immediately when rigging: clip the webbing in, close the shackle, tension. Particularly handy for highline and longline setups where you clip the same loop in again and again.

Advantages over round slings

- Simpler setup: the anchor webbing is threaded close to the tree and cannot fall down
- Flexible for thin to very thick anchor points up to 1.2 m diameter
- Gentle on the tensioning system: the tension is released slowly through the release webbing

- Total breaking strength: up to 6 t (webbing wrapped 3x around the anchor point)
- Breaking strength webbing: 2.2 t
- Webbing width: 25 mm, black, soft to the touch
