Equilocker Plus – Longline Linelock with Soft Release

The Equilocker Plus – the further development of the Equilocker with direct soft release attachment.

Ideal for really long slacklines: an additional quick pin lets you integrate a soft release directly into your setup. Thanks to its generous dimensions it also takes thick webbing or doubled slacklines.

The front pin (12 mm, freely rotating) allows comfortable pre-tensioning by hand. A second 12 mm pin takes the soft release quickly and easily. Central redirect made of anodised aerospace aluminium for maximum use of the breaking strength. 4 mm thick, deburred and glass-bead-blasted stainless steel plates with a painted finish.

Why a soft release?

Long lines store an enormous amount of energy. Releasing the tension abruptly through the pulley loads gear and anchor points all at once. With a soft release you let the tension off in a controlled way through a multiply wrapped piece of webbing. That protects your setup and makes derigging relaxed. On the Equilocker Plus the soft release sits directly on the second pin, with nothing in between.

Do you need the Plus?

If you mostly rig up to around 50 m, the Equilocker is enough. As soon as you work with a rope pulley and regularly need to release the line in a controlled way, the Plus is worth it.
