Oval Quicklink
Oval Quicklink
Couldn't load pickup availability
Oval quicklink for attaching, for example, a static rope to the double pulley of a hauling system – a standard part for any slackline setup.
What's it for?
In a pulley hauling system, the quicklink connects rope and pulley. The oval shape keeps the load centred at the crown rather than pulling sideways on the gate. Unlike a carabiner, a quicklink has no snap gate that could open under vibration – exactly why it's the safe choice in a permanently loaded setup.
When assembling: always screw the nut all the way shut until no thread is visible.

Oval or delta?
The oval quicklink is meant for a straight pull between two points. The delta quicklink with its triangular shape suits spots where a linelocker needs to sit centred and symmetrical on the pulley.
Goes well with: pulley and Roll n Lock. How a pulley system is built is covered in Tensioning a slackline.
Manufacturer: Climbing Technology / Skylotec (model Q-Link oval).
